I got these two lady jackets on J Crew's after Christmas sale when the discount was 70% off the already reduced price  (both are still available, but not at that price) ...   Anyway,  looking at the stark white dots, I'm not sure now if the blouse will work the the cream jacket ... what do you think?

You certainly have great taste @SoX .  These jackets are just lovely.  As far as the dotted blouse, I say try it on and see how it looks.  It may blend in just fine.
