Hosiery Help

Sorry haters, but I gotta wear them for work dress code, and at my age, 48, my legs are not worth showing off in their altogether.

I used to buy Jockey, Calvin Klein, etc at Filene's basement. I can't afford to buy the Wolford type brands advertised in magazines. Not really crazy about L'eggs and No Nonsense - they don't hold up well for me. Where DOES one buy reasonable priced hosiery now? $4.99 max. I probably have to spend about $100 a year on nylons to wear to my teaching job. I like to wear dresses, skirts, suits. Any good nudes that are not shiny that anyone has found?
