This is beautiful, and I'd actually wear it IF I had the occassion to do so. In reality, the only place I see people dressed up in the outfits pictured in this thread are on soap operas and Hallmark movies. Winter holidays in Michigan are cold and snowy and warmth is the main objective. I've even stopped bring a cocktail dress to Florida with me as there's just no need for it.
