When they were new, I used to really like TJ Maxx and Marshalls because they were genuine outlets (e.g. clothes are sent to be reduced in price from more expensive places where they did not sell.).

 

Yes, I agree that now most outlets have clothes especially manufactured for them and no longer try to sell higher-priced items.  I have shopped at outlets my whole life, and this is what I also see at Nordstrom Rack, and Saks Off 5th. Neiman Marcus just about did away with their outlet stores!

 

QVC has always had consistent quality in many of their clothes lines.  I do not find their prices unreasonable, but I also like to wait for sales--clearance, lunch time specials and so forth.  QVC outlet prices are also quite cheap. 

 

As we all know, prices are going up everywhere and for everything.  But, there is a difference between what we really need and what we just want!!
