I wear skinny jeans most of the time. Either that or jeggings. But mine all have belt loops just so they don't creep down, gap in the back or slide down when I sit down. My advice is to buy ones with belt loops and wear a belt.

You may want to go to a regular store so you can try different brands on. Sounds like the challenge is the rise of the jeans & not the leg shape. Where we carry our weight may also factor in.
