TSV 11/13 - A70620. I fell in love with this dress, so I ordered 4 of them (2 black and 2 berry- different sizes and lengths). This was NOT because I wanted 4 (I only want 1 black and 1 berry) but because I wasn't sure about WHAT size to purchase. I went to another Renee Greenstein dress made of the same fabric (finespun knit) to look at the reviews to help me out. About 17 reviews later, I was still pretty stuck. There were a couple of ladies who mentioned their specific sizes, BUT the majority of reviewers only said the dress they ordered fit well, perfectly, etc- but no true measurements were given by them. Well, saying something "fits perfectly and I ordered a size 12" doesn't help the rest of us at all. I AM NOT a nosy person and could care less about anothers body habitus, I'm simply hoping to get information that will help me (and others) select the best sizing when placing an order WITHOUT having to give Q more money on return S/H fees. Many of us complain bitterly about their return fees, so let's help each other by including specific bust size, waist size, hip size, height- etc. when we write reviews on fashion items. (When I return a clothing item and write a review, I always include my specific measurement, and the size that I ordered, hopefully to save someone else from having to pay a return S/H fee due to size issue.) They don't always have a model that looks close to my body type- Lord knows I could only wear an XXS around my neck for a scarf (LOL). Note: This could also work better if Q cared enough to demand consistency from the suppliers they work with.

@wannabee1 Sizing online can be the hardest thing next to shipping. That being said no ones body is like another. We can be similar in build but mass made clothes are designed to fit a "spectrum". So if you pick a "large" or a "12" it's designed to fit people that are in the grey zone of those sizes. Country of origin and material make it all that much harder. So if I tell you I'm a 12 in a certain brand but a 10 in another and sometimes even a 14 that isn't helpful. If I tell you I'm a 40C my waist is 29 and my inseam is 28" that's helpful BUT my weight most likely sits differently on me. I could even weigh the same as you but my curves are not like yours.
I agree more information is helpful, but it's like shoes, a wide fits some wides and yet can still be tight on someone who is borderline wide. You are not going to get "consistancy" from suppliers because they are mass producing a product to fit many "different" size 12s or size 4s. I will say that I can be fairly certain of my sizes in certain brands here based on years of ordering. And I usually go by the bust size first. Other than that, mass produced items with varying materials, is pretty much a ****** shoot most of the time. Most of us here are brand loyal just as much because we like the items, as we do the fact that we are familiar with their sizing BUT, we have had curveballs thrown where we went with our regular size and were disappointed. Yup, sizing is sometimes just order and hope for the best.

@wannabee1. The best way to assure accurate sizing is to measure important parts from a well-fitting garment in your closet; bust, waist, hips, length, etc.
Then compare those measurements to the actual measurements of the garment you're considering. These measurements can be found at the end of the text describing it where it says to "click here". QVC gives you a measurement for every part of the garment you could possibly want.

If you continue to order 4 of everything you'll go broke in shipping charges back. Like others say the garment measurements are always listed on the app for each item and they get into great detail, that along with reviews can work, not always but for the most part it works well.

My best advice is know your body measurements and check the garment measurements of an item before buying. Works most of the time for me. If I can't figure it out from the info provided on the website and reviews, then I don't order. I wanted to order a dress several weeks ago, but there were no garment measurements listed for it. Not even going to try to order that item.
I don't think I've ever ordered 2 different sizes of an item from any online retailer, but I know others do it. I just don't want the hassle or cost of returning sizes I don't need. It's a shame that people feel like they have to do that due to inconsistent sizing or lack of sizing info.

I do wish when they ask the models what size they're wearing, they would also display their measurements. They ARE models so they shouldn't be ashamed of their measurements. They have the job because QVC wants to sell us the clothing. Telling me how tall they are and the size they're wearing does nothing or me. Also, giving height and weight means nothing either. Some of us are more densely packed than others.
That being said, I doubt that will happen, so best to go by the garment measurements. It's good that they have that. Some sites only have size charts and in my limited online ordering, I've found them to often be incorrect for my body and the fit I expect.
You can't always count on being the same size even with the same brand. I have different G by Giuliana (HSN) pieces and the sizing has been all over the place.
