Help! Salt Stains on Suede Boots

So many options on Amazon, but I don't know which one to get.

I have salt stains on my gray suede boots. The do-it-yourself with vinegar thing is kind of scary to me, but maybe it's the way to go?

Any advice?

Did you try brushing them with a suede brush first?

No, I haven't. I only have a regular shoe brush, and that didn't do much.

I will get a suede brush!

Suede with salt stains must be a problem. I wore only smooth leather boots in winter back north and they were difficult enough. Having DH take care of them was my solution.

How in the world did you get salt on your boots? Cooking? How would salt stain, wouldn't the granuales just bounce off? I am sooo confused with this one.

She means salt from the snow. I also have gray suede boots and have the same problem. You must not live up north lucky you!!
