In the UK. Of course obviously this event is not
about fashion at all, but what do you think of what she wore?

@Greeneyedlady21 IMO, I think she looked very appropriate. Lovely dress. Such a difficult day for many.
Thanks for the post.

It's a whole lot better than what the members of the military are wearing

I'm wondering if the flowers in her dress are meant to honor the 2500 service members who died and also those who were there and still living.

i see red poppies
red poppy is a symbol of both Remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. Poppies are worn as a show of support for the Armed Forces community. The poppy is a well-known and well-established symbol, one that carries a wealth of history and meaning with it.

She is a beautiful woman and aging so gracefully. I think her dress was very pretty and she wore it well.

💝 She is SO beautiful, and still the epitome of CLASS, style, and grace! She is well covered up with her understated look, but I find it fitting for the occasion in the UK.❤ I think it is a tasteful look. Here in the States, some might think it be a bit dowdy!😊
~~~All we need is LOVE💖
I was thinking of the red poppies too and that they can be worn at memorials, funerals and commemorative events.
That's what I thought I saw too and wondering if the other flowers honored something more. King Chas cried during the ceremony. I think he had his mother and her service on his mind, in addition to all those who gave it all.
