Have you ever noticed this?

Sometimes I will watch QVC and think a host looks very slim.

Then maybe another time I will think they are more on the "chubby" side?

 

Can this effect all be to the style they are wearing?

I think it depends on what they are wearing.  And Spanx don't make anyone look small.  They just smooth out the lumps and bumps.

I think its the different camera angle's.

Probably depends on whether the shot is wide angle or people standing behind a counter, etc.

@LTT1   hey, on TV the camera puts on 15 pounds no matter what.

 

Angles?  Probably that is correct too so it's tough on them.

If their appearance of skinny/not skinny is the effect of styles then WHOA!

I would be watching the online appearance carefully and would choose to wear only those fashions that are slimming...

 

OTOH... those on air often have no choice of which fashions to wear.
