@Trix - I like plaids, too. I only have one plaid blouse right now but I am looking for a few more for fall. I love the idea of a plaid scarf, too!

I've always liked prints (though I don't like ALL prints).  I tend to keep bottom pieces solid and wear prints on top.  One day I went to a gathering where there were 9 women sitting in a circle.  I realized after a few moments that the 5 women sitting across from me were all wearing jeans and solid black-colored tops.  I was glad to be wearing a cheerful print!

One type of print I won't wear is a "placement" print.  Everyone that I've seen on TV looks like they are wearing an x-ray picture or ultra-sound image.

JCP offered a particular Liz Claiborne top in 6 colors.  So far I bought 5 of them because I like the fit so much.

 

This pattern on this one is raspberry sorbet @magicmoodz
