Has anyone tried the Luxhair wigs by Sherri Shepherd?

I always take a look at these wig videos and they look so fun and cute, but the reviews are from fabulous to this wig stinks!! Anyone here purchased one, what do you think of it??

I have short hair and never have the patience to grow it out so I was thinking of trying a little bit longer wig for fun.

Re: Has anyone tried the Luxhair wigs by Sherri Shepherd?

Funny to see this post!! I just tonight was looking at them I am seriously thinking of ordering A262578. It is LuxHair, but has Tabitha Coffey's name attached (I think this was it). I saw another that I really liked & watched the video, & it looked great, UNTIL they turned the model around. You could clearly see the mesh, it was so thin in back. SO if you are considering, read the reviews & watch the videos closely. It wasn't the same as the item # I posted, but something similar. My hair is also short & I was looking for 1 in similar style as what I wear my own hair.

Be sure to let us know what you think on here. As you stated, the reviews are very mixed. I saw 1 that said the wig was too small & popped up, another said it was too large (same item#).

I purchased the pony tail a couple months back, and I think the quality and color blending is nice.

I was about to buy and then she said the part about the bobby pins. I am more interested in the ones with the clips. oh well.

I wear wigs and I will tell you, I have yet to buy a wig that is perfect right out the package. Also I secure with bobby pins and I find this better than the clips. For people who wear wigs every day, the clips WILL EVENTUALLY break your hair.

The key is to learn HOW to make your wig look as REAL as possible. For me the shine on the hair is what makes it look fake, that can be toned down with speedstick deodorant, you wipe it down the shaft of the hair and rub your hands from the right tot he left and it will take the shine down.

Also, I find that you need to use a wig head when not wearing the wig and also you need to use hair spray so the hair is not floppy up and down but is more firm and in place. I also find that even with lace wigs it is best to go as close to your natural color so you can take out a small small amount of your edges in front of the lace, so people see your hair. There are so many tips on youtube. I also find the black color can be too harsh and it is best to order the dark brown or off black color.

Wigs are a true blessing for me.

I want to try one to see what I would look like with short hair but I always chicken out before ordering. Also I'm afraid I would get too hot wearing one.
