I used to get catalogs all the time, and today one happened to show up in the mail.  I saw a few things of interest and the price was reasonable, but I was wondering about the quality/fit.

@Icegoddess, I used to work for a company that has an outlet store a mile away from me and I have bought several nice MV things at a big discount.  I have also bought IM, SG & a couple pairs of Clark's shoes that are comfy and a very good $$.  I still get a catalog from SC & I left work 22 years ago.

yes, i have purchased numerous items from midnight velvet and its sister catalog monroe and main and have always been pleased with their pricing, sales, and customer service. they carry nice quality items.

I  get a lot of catalogs.  Before I order, I make sure (as far as I can) that I am not ordering fast fashion which doesn't provide decent safe working condition  and pays adults and children pennies on the dollars.

@ECBG Midnight Velvet has been around a long time.  I used to get their catalogs years ago.  So, unless they've been bought out like Chadwick's, I wouldn't be concerned.  The prices are not dirt cheap like Temu and Stein.

Midnight Velvet?  Wow -- that's a name I haven't heard in ages! I used to get those catalogs all the time and it's been years since i got one.  I didn't realize they were still in business.  I wil have to see if I can find them on line.

Midnight Velvet is constantly committing fraud. They are routinely reporting to all three credit reporting agencies that I owe them over $600 on my account. They NEVER CREDITED me for the payments I did make.I settled with AmeriMark which is Midnight Velvet's previous parent company on April 19, 2022, for $160.77 with Collection Bureau of Hudson Valley (CBHV). I am not sure why Midnight Velvet's accounting/billing did not make any adjustments but if this matter is not resolved immediately then I will have no choice but to file an Attorney General of Wisconsin fraud complaint because that is what this is since the settlement dated April 19, 2022.
