Re: Happy February!! Style With Linea!

Good luck with the job interview, Sterling! DC is very conservative in its business dress code and your suit is right on the mark.

I'm challenged in posting links and photos, so just a verbal description from me. DH treated me to a belated birthday dinner at a historic tavern/restaurant that is pretty casual in its style. I wore the new WK swing sweater in stone, with the matching stone gab trousers, and a Linea long neckace with beads and hammered large links that was recently on a clearance pricing. And large gold Linea clip earrings from a few seasons ago.

The reversible faux fur coat, with the stone fabric side out, topped my all Linea outfit. Everything was warm and cozy for a very cold winter evening.

You looked stunning!! You should try the peep a boo sweater in stone with the caneel inlay and maybe the WK stone skirt.

Will give you a totally different look.

Re: Happy February!! Style With Linea!

Wore the wine (or was it plum or ??) Ponte tunic with the pockets with faded/distressed jeans and these super cute Puma slip ons that have stripes of wine/plum/fuschia - the plum matched the tunic perfectly. Went to a travel show with some friends..... piled on a bunch of ethnic silver jewelry to finish off the look!! Of course, it was all topped off with my Helly Hanson rain slicker until I got into the convention center - monsoon season here in the Bay Area (CA)!!

Re: Happy February!! Style With Linea!

I was in LA for a meeting last week and wore the new moss crepe top and skirt in black with slingback shoes and the Linea cream pearls. Very appropriate but not overly "dressy." After the meeting I got in my car, changed into a GAP white cotton tank, threw on flip flops and rammed around the city feeling chic in my moss crepe skirt and comfy in my tank/shoes! The following day I wore the moss crepe top with jeans and wedges—also a winner.

Designers go on about dress up/dress down; I found this was actually true for the moss crepe.

Today I wore the peblum jacket that was the TSV--iris with the matching iris WK sweater and a pair of black Linea pants with fly front. Made a very nice outfit. I need to start wearing these jackets more often. (I think I have all the colors!)

Wearing today the antique rose silk blouse (A94288) over my LL black pants. Will be changing out of these pants into the black pinstripe ones and ankle black boots. Then putting the aubergine quilted jacket over that. Wearing vintage 1928 jewelry in pink with aurora borealis crystals in heart shape.
