Handbag No More ?

I have several nice handbags that I love, however, during this holiday season I have been carrying a small silver/metallic bag that holds just the essentials. I find it so much more convenient than lugging a big purse around. It is so nice to just tuck it under my arm when shopping. I am not wanting to go back to a big purse. Am I nuts or what?
