Re: Hair styles.. just curious

Shawn has great thick hair.  I don't necessarily like each style.

I really thought the long, stringy hair style was on its way out.  Supposedly fullness and texture are the new "in" look.

I never thought the beach look was much of a look at all.  Long stringy hair with a slight bend toward the ends.  Thrilling.

Well groomed healthy hair, no matter what style can make or break a look or attitude. No matter how much makeup is applied, the hair is what most people see first.

I like extensions. I believe the secret is to go to someone that specializes. My hairstylist referred me to a lady and that is all she does. Just extensions.  She does great work and it is fun to switch up styles.  Most of friends purchases quality hair and it looks good. I have a fake pony right now but I'm do for a change!

@Franklinbell  -  Just curious - can you "feel" the extensions in your hair?  Seems like the really long ones that Courtney K wears would feel heavy.

I can understand  moderate extensions  for those with hair issues such as bald spots or  thinning , but the really long extensions on so many women look so fake and not flattering .

@San Antonio Gal Yes, I know they are there. Mine are sewn in not clip on so they are there for a while. I enjoy the versatility they bring. It's fun. I know someday I will tire of all of this but for now it's  working for me! Mine are not super long. It gives me more fullness for " fluffier" styles. I will admit....I love my "phoney pony!" Re: Hair styles.. just curious

DH said to me the other day -- what's with all of these people on t.v. with this really, really long hair?  He said he wishes people would just have their own hair and not resort to all this fake stuff.  I kind of agreed with him.  I think with a lot of things, it started out kind of minimal and just went over the top.  Like the nail and eye lash trend.  It seemed that every celebrity had to have longer and longer nails and longer and longer eye lashes.  Nothing wrong with wearing beautiful makeup and having nails done nicely and hair styled well, also.  But a lot this is just so fake looking.  It's like one it trying to outdo the other or something....
