I am not JJM but I have this jacket in the olive and love it. I think the only down side on this jacket is that you have to be careful because it snags easily. Because it is not lined it is very comfortable to wear on a warm day.

I bought this jacket/pants in the stone/taupe and while I kept the pants (beautiful fabric/drape), I returned the jacket for the snagging reason you mention, DiAnne.

I have both the stone and pale olive pants and jacket and I love them. I think some people found the fabric scratchy -- I don't. The jacket is an unstructured style -- sort of casual and loose -- again, I like it. I haven't had any snags. Very comfortable to wear.

Thank you BklynKinsey & JJM! That pale olive suit is my favorite Linea set! Per Louis' suggestion, I wear it with the olive baby cheetah v-neck top (sold out) as well as the pale olive short-sleeve sweater (A-3825). I trust Louis & will order the olive hydrangea top now!

The new taupe version of this top will really freshen up the stone version of that herringbone suit, which is so comfortable & so good-looking. I also think it would look wonderful with the mushroom pants & safari style jacket from that same season.

I have this herringbone suit in Stone and love, love, love it. Have had no problems whatsoever and have worn it a LOT! I took it to Vienna for three weeks when it first came out and it will return with me in the spring. It looks all the world like linen and has that same slouchy linen look.

Louis just posted that the hydrangea print in the new Taupe looks fabulous with it. Also the Twig skirt, which will give me completely new looks. Both are on my list.

I also found that when worn, the Hydrangea print doesn't look "too much" for me at all. As I remember, Louis took it from a vintage French fabric that he has in his archives and it does have that "continental" look. I love mine.

I agree, this print isn't too much at all. I am wary of big prints but this one is perfect, really a nice way to liven up my solids or textures especially in this new neutral. I don't want big hot pink florals that overwhelm me, but do like this one so much.
