Beautiful shades, BUT it is not machine dry able. It would look and feel crinkled/wrinkled out of the washer.

great idea thank you

I guess I've been watching/buying Basso for so long, that it is immediately evident to me that the quality of the faux fur is not there and looked ratty. Maybe the needed to brush the fur or something. I know they didn't even iron/steam the robes they had out on the rack because Adrian and the host were both changing into different colors and you could see the wrinkles in the robe.
The robe itself looked very thin. It didn't scream luxurious.
agreed

I only saw the still shot of the robe yesterday afternoon and it looked really cute. Now I just watched the video presentation with Callie and it doesn't look nearly as nice as the still shot did.
The fur does look ratty like they pulled the robes out of bags, slapped them on hangers and hung them up. All that fur should have been brushed or combed. The robe looks to be a good weight IMO because I hate a really heavy, thick robe. I end up too hot. I also didn't realize you can't dry the robe in the dryer.

It is really nice!! I so didn't want to shop today.... Thinking about getting the black. Love the gray too but I just love the leopard on the black.

I like the gray and the pale pink. I just got a white robe, though, over at The Outlet at appleseeds.com. It was originally $70 and sold for $20. It's very plush and seems to be sturdier than most robes. I'd bet it's of better quality in terms of fabric and construction than the TSV. However, it definitely isn't as pretty!
That site combines a number of different stores that offer 40% or 25% off or free shipping, varying offers that expire. They have a lot of unattractive things, but I've gotten some wonderful items there lately. What I do is buy something from the store that has X% off or free shipping (I mostly shop The Outlet, which has items from all stores) even if it's just a $2 pair of socks. Then the rest of my items also get that discount or ship free. I got an expensive back brace the other day for less than $18, two pairs of Naturalizer shoes at $17 and $24 (the same $80 leather shoes but at different times and different colors), and a $150 100% wool fall jacket for $30. My biggest bargain was a beige suit jacket with three-quarter sleeves that was originally $100. It was going for $10, but I was getting 25% off my order, so it was $7.50. They even have had a couple of pairs of Orthaheels at rock-bottom prices, though they may be sold out now.
I believe you can only use one discount code at a time. I check every one of the affiliated stores to see who has the best discount available.

They were saying to buy one for your husband or significant other.....THAT would be a concern to me.... but what you do behind closed doors is your business if you buy them one.
