Jeans are not my favorite pants, but I do own a few.  My favorite cut is a slim straight ankle length. I don't wear high heels in my everyday life, so ankle lengths work best with my low-heel and flat footwear choices.  

I own one pair of wide-leg jeans, but only to have that one different cut as an option.  I prefer a light to mid-wash. Dark washes don't appeal to me. I don't see them as looking dressier or a better choice for career wear. To me, they still look like jeans.  With the right top and footwear chambray can look dressy.  What I will never wear in jeans are bootcut styles and anything frayed and ripped.

I wear jeans every day and have all different types and lengths.  It depends on where I'm going/what I'm doing and what shoes I want to wear. I like my jeans somewhat tight, and it's a struggle to find them tight enough without being too tight. I would never buy any style of jeans that were purposely loose.

I only have 2 pairs of jeans and they are slightly loose. I don't like anything tight fitting on me. Never have. My main concern is always whether or not they will be long enough.

I gave up on jeans for now.  I used to live in jeans on my off time from work.  I had a nice trim little figure so I could wear any style and I wore them snug but not so tight that I couldn't be comfortable!  Now that I've retired and add in health issues, I have gained some weight which I am not happy about and I no longer am happy about how I look in any jean.  I see people wearing them on t.v. and they look like they are fitted well, broken in and comfy but not plastered to their bodies and I am envious.  Even being heavier, I wish I could find a pair that I felt comfortable in and looked decent.  But as I said, I have given up on them now and for the foreseeable future.

Depends on what I am doing as to how I wear my jeans. 

If I am working outside gardening, mulching, painting,etc. I like my jeans a little loose.

If I am going out I like my skinny jeans or jeggings. They look good on me and I like the comfort of the stretch in the waistband. DG2, Iman and Lee are my jean brands of choice. I live in jeans. Have over 30 pairs in all colors, styles and fabrics.
