Ordered my normal Q size: PL

Fits true to size -- do not order up

Height: 5'

Petite inseam length is perfect with very small amount of pooling

Waistline would allow for riding lower on hips if desired

Color: Slate-blue... Tends more toward gray-blue; nice color

Pleats: placed just right for tummy disguise

The fabric of these is very thin, so pleats and pockets don't add bulk

Cons: for home wear these are perfect; for outside the home I would be self-conscious about panty-lines. Would add tunic-length top for coverage

Boots would not work with this weight fabric

   Do not think I would have ever worn to teach in these; the fabric is so thin-- not a sweater-knit...more of a pj pant. IMO HTH

WISH: could this exact style be offered in a more substantial knit/fabric?

Thanks for the review teach.  I saw these, and they were the only Halston item I was interested in.  I have a pair of LLlemon pants in a smilar style with a bit different material and therefore didn't purchase--but I liked these!

@LTT1. It was a great review. I didn't think you sounded negative.   What type of shoes will you all be wearing with these pants?

Re: H by Halston jogger pants

So glad to see this post.  I actually asked the question a while back if these petite pants would be too short for someone 5'1" and received a response that didn't help much.  If you are 5' guess these should work for me.

@LTT1

Cheryl Burke has a pair of jogger pants that I have. They're very nice.  Inseam:  28" (no petite or tall)

Here's another pair (comes in petite), but the Regular size inseam is: 30". Comes in black too.

@Biftu

@If you want these to fit with minor draping at the ankle, then the petite should be fine... If 5'1", yes petite.

@MadameQueen

That is a good question--which shoes

A  sneaker boot would be choice 1

Will wear sneakers or Easy Spirit traveltime with

In summer, wedge sandals that are strappy and somewhat metallic (gunmetal).

ETA:  I am seeing in the pictures that the way to wear these that is popular (if the Cee Bee pictures are right) is for these to fall above the ankle with no draping.  Probably not the way I would wear them since I like a bit of pooling at the ankle.

Re: H by Halston jogger pants

Did you see the Halston woven polyester jogger pants? They might be sturdier and more substantial than the rayon.

What about a Mary Jane shoe with these H joggers? Big no or yes?
