Definitely "throw-away" clothes. It is ok for two, maybe three, washings, then it is indeed junk. As long as you have low expectations, I say go for it!

Unfortunately, rayon can ALWAYS be a tough call. My mom used to tell me to NEVER buy it, because the wrinkling would be worse than any benefit.
I've come to love knit rayons because they can be so comfortable, and if I can find "slubbed" rayon, it sort of solves the problem with wrinkling/pilling.
My very favorite of all is Modal, which also can pill, but is amazingly soft and feels good in hot and cool weather.
I have a favorite IM dress in two sizes and 3 colors, because the use of modal is spot on.
If it were still available, I'd buy a fourth color. I like it THAT MUCH!

I had the occasion to go there very recent. actually I have been in H&M once very recently only because I googled Angry Bird Flip Flops for my grandson and H&M came up. I did go in and they had them. I briefly looked round.
I found the items to be more trendy for the younger set..teens and early 20's ...and budget conscious..
Not everybody can afford to pay fifty bucks for a top and I am glad there are price points out there for those that want something new, that is trendy for school.
There is a niche for everybody out there..thank you stars if you can afford something with a higher price point and quality. Not all kids/teens/college somethings can.
For the grace of god go I...

If you bought something from H&M and it lasted you a couple of years, I'd say you did pretty well.
H&M isn't a store for long lasting, classic clothing. I use H&M as a place to buy more trendy items. I shop there when I want the look but don't want to invest a lot of money for it.

It was an H&M top and you wore it for several years and then you killed it putting it in the dryer...lol What the heck are you complaining about? You got your $15 back many times over...lol So, you "tossed" the destroyed top in a donation bin. That tells me a lot about the type of person you are....and it isn't good. As for fast fashion (if that even is a real term)..duhhhhh. You buy cute little top for $15 at H&M or other stores like that and you are supposed know it's disposable fashion. That's tje whole point. You wear it 3 or 4 times and got your money out of it. You aren't buying an investment piece.

I remember when that was true; rayon wrinkled if you looked at it sideways!
It was also dry clean only! But textiles have come such a long way! I have a few rayon/span tops and they're really soft and comfy!
I have a single modal piece, picked it up at Target, didn't look at the tag but suffice it to say I was surprised at the price when I got to the register! lol But the hand is just outrageous!

I still have some stuff from QVC's Freelance line .... modal and spandex. Pants and shirts. There are only 4 numbers in the item numbers ... it was a long time ago when I bought them.
Nothing has ever pilled ... nothing wrinkles ... still fit great and look great.
I get the cotton/modal blend turtlenecks from LandsEnd. Modal is great!
