I must live under a rock ... never heard of it.   Not everyone is "on trend" knowing the latest jargon that QVC hosts throw at us ..... "span"(for spandex), "gorge" (for gorgeous), etc.    Please host .... as I tell preschoolers, "Use your words."

The taupes I use in my home have gray or beige undertones. (never pink!!) The definition of Taupe is a color between brown and gray.  Greige is Taupe in my book!

This is correct.  Greige is a term widely used in the textile industry.  In fact, these fabrics are referred to as "griege goods."   Eventually the color forecasters named a color after it, and the color pops up in fashion every so often as trends develop.

I wear greige nail polish in the fall/winter.

I want to say that Bobbie Brown came out with a greige eye shadow palette which looks so pretty

Here we go again agreeing.  Ever since OPI came out with You Don't Know Jacques, Greige has been my favorite fall/winter polish.  I must have a dozen variations in my collection.

I wear a color by Wet N Wild on my toes nearly all fall and winter called Wet Cement that I would describe as greige.  I love it.

Whether you call it taupe or greige, I love it in the fall.  Wasn't Chanel Particuliere one of the first popular polishes in this shade?

"You Don't Know Jacques" is my FAVORITE nail polish color ever!  I have completely finished 2 bottles (this has never happened to me with any other color), and am on my third!  Greige is a fab color.

Yes, just today I got an email from Nordstrom for the Bobbi Brown "Greige Collection."

I love Greige.  I can't wear polish anymore, but I buy it for the granddaughters and admire it on them! This particular color can change with the color you wear.  If you are wearing black it appears gray.  With greens and browns it can appear ambiguous...but more taupe if you had to call it.

I would like to add if you love gray polish, CND Asphalt is a true, warmer gray.  It is fabulous and wears well!
