I like Shawn. I like her energy. I just wish she would speak normally, not cutesy, or with made up words. It comes across as uneducated. I know she is smoother than that and better educated. Some of her presentations last night were jarring.

Boomer here, too. Although I do like some of the newer styles and have bought several pieces of LOGO and Isaac. However, remember when Talbots thought they needed to change for the younger generation? It almost closed their doors for good! We are the only generation willing and able to spend money on the things we really want.

No jewelfoot, the younger demo is spending their money elsewhere...NOTHING @ Q would appeal to them.

I like to watch Shawn and I liked Lisa too. I don't care what the host wears or likes, I make up my own mind. QVC is a shopping channel and not there to entertain me.

I make up my own mind as well, but I am sure not going to buy if I am not going to watch.

Older, younger, whatever... I've given all the Q's new 'fashion' shows a whirl, both Monday and Friday, and frankly don't enjoy any of them. You see, the Q can worry all they want about their demographics, but I don't give a hot darn about them... The only question I have to ask myself is why I would continue to watch what I'm not enjoying? The quick answer is I wouldn't and won't. Even Issac, placed in the midst of the remaining dreadful Monday night line-up, (and it is dreadful) is rapidly becoming a thing of the past... And a word to the wise, sooner or later... if I'm not watching then I'm buying a whole lot less.

There is nothing about Shawn's presentation style that I find to be pleasant. I never watch her. Sometimes, I try when she's with Isaac on Friday afternoon because I like Isaac, but I never last more than a few minutes.

Actually, I think, given it's on television, it's probably supposed to possess at least a modicum of entertainment value... I believe even their, um, esteemed... CEO has touted their entertainment function, such as it is... Unfortunately, it's ceased to be even marginally entertaining the vast majority of the time and on virtually any level whatsoever.

It doesn't matter if I'm a boomer or a 20-something. I've never watched QVC in the evenings anyway -- there are better programs on other channels, there are books to read, and I don't want to watch a 24-hr-a-day commercial (QVC is one loooong commercial for their products). Besides, I really don't like LOGO, or Isaak's clothes, or mixing 'fashion' shows with beauty and skin care products ... so I definitely will not be watching on Monday nights. (I'll keep my thoughts on Shawn to myself)

Simply, for me on the east coast .... the time slot is on too late. I am sleeping as Shawn is presenting her 3rd or 4th item!

I actually watch videos to see items on the model but don't feel I have to watch the show if it isn't something I enjoy. I really don't buy a lot of fashion on the Q so I don't help their business very much. Hope it's warm and sunny where you are. Smile
