The items sold on QVC cannot possibly be geared towards the younger. If anything, the line that may be for the young at heart is LOGO. I get complments from younger girls when I wear my LOGO tops.

Shawn has made onto The Soup quite often...she was going on and on about a ring she was hawking! I watch The Soup so that's where I saw it....I don't watch QVC much anymore....I don't care for Isaac or Lori on Monday night's so don't watch PMS...I don't like Shawn...hate the bangs in her eye...drives me crazy...and her lingo too.....I wonder if she is trying too hard because QVC brass is looking at her sales numbers....anyway, I miss Lisa R. ....and with the new adjustments in the reduced shipping but the customer pays for returns....along with prices increasing to adjust the profits make ordering from QVC unlikely for me...I mean 50.00 for a top is ridiculous for the average consumer....QVC used to be the #1place I would look, now I quit and have trended over to HSN....they have professional presentations, not multiple hosts giggling over each other and the vendors(except for Shannon) and I love their clearance sales!

Why does it matter what Shawn wears? Whatever she's selling, she uses or wears.

My point is that if she's not truthful with her audience, why should we believe anything she says about the products she's selling.

Excellent point, K9buddy. There were many posts a few weeks ago concerning her lack of honesty. Even Isaac referenced her heels and foot problems on his show this evening.

She wore jeans on air just last week. It speaks to credibility, which believe it or not, is important in sales, as it is in life.

LOL!!! She finally wore something that didn't droop all over?{#emotions_dlg.devil2}

The new shows have been lacking IMO. I miss the humor...

I am a boomer and I totally agree with the OP!

I'm a very good QVC customer. I'm a baby boomer. I guess QVC is going after a younger audience which is good business. I would remind them, however, that baby boomers still have money to spend. I have enjoyed PM style for many years. I'm sure Shawn is a lovely person but she is not for me. I feel like the whole show has been infantilized and cutsified for a younger audience and I am not interested in watching. At least give me Jayne and Pat. I am no longer interested in this show but I think that is what QVC wants---younger viewers, a little less sophistication. OK.

I will say this. I didn't really like Shawn much at first. But she grew on me. Especially after seeing her on Shawn Says Accessorize. Dare I say that maybe it should have been Shawn Says Accessorize on Monday nights with Inspired Style with Amy? If I wasn't home on Friday afternoons, I would have really missed Shawn's accessory show. I think more people need to see it and it should be on Monday nights. I think the program hosts would have been more comfortable doing their own shows rather than competing with the previous PM Style host.Then may I add that as fillers QVC could have LOGO and Isaac which I love both of those lines.

By the way QVC, I just love the inspiring jewelry on Shawn's shows. Please consider the "hear my soul speak" cuff in stainless steel.

If the forum is a sample of the rest of the viewers, many do not watch her. I have to wonder, I don't remember people turning off the TV on Lisa. They might not have liked her, but they still watched. It makes me wonder what is going on behind the scenes. I bet some of the older and experienced hosts are miffed. Don't know for sure, but do wonder....
I need to chime in here. I DID turn off the TV a lot when Lisa was on!! And as far as I remember from various forums, I was not alone. Her pitch was so look repetitious...Madison Ave, old money, Hamptons, amazing, amazing, amazing!! Surely you remember that ! As they sing in Frozen..."Let it go, let it go"
