Just wondering what you use for sunglasses if you wear glasses. Prescription, clip-one, or fitovers? I have a very small face and wear close to a child's size glasses. Very hard to find a fit over that's not huge. Child size is just a tiny bit too small. Thanks in advance.

I have prescription sunglasses.I find that the easiest solution.

I have always used prescription sunglasses until the pandemic. They are impossible to carry in my wallet crossbody. Since I am no longer carrying a large handbag, I ordered a pair of fitovers from Prive Revaux on QVC. They have worked very well, and I don't mind leaving them in the car when I arrive at my destination.

I wear fitovers, the size is too big for my face but they fit perfectly & serve their purpose so I don't care how they look....lost a prescription pair so I'll never do that again.

I have both fitovers and clip-on. The clip-on are handiest for carrying in a purse and probably the most practical for a small face. Very lightweight too.

I also wear fitovers. Prescription sunglasses just got too expensive, especially with what I already pay for regular glasses.
I got a pair of Jonathan Pail fitovers years ago at the Q that fit perfectly. I also wear almost child size glasses. They are a bit larger than RX would be, but I'm past the age of caring about looks.
They don't carry them anymore here, but I found them on Amazon. A bit pricey compared to most, but I wanted that specific style. Jonathan Paul has a size chart on their website that will show you which of their glasses will fit yours the best. They are one of a few I've found that carries fitovers in smaller sizes.

Prescription sunglasses OR fashion sunglasses over contacts

Single vision lenses: I've tried prescription sun glasses for probably 15 - still have a pair here that I haven't worn since I got bifocals. Glasses were a lot less expensive in those days.
Bifocals - for about 30 years - I wore the bifocal glass lenses - photogray lenses that darkened in the sun. Loved them.
Progressives - Then - a couple of years ago - I went to progressive lenses. The lenses themselves are $500 a pair - and $650 a pair for transition (darkening). Add the cost of the frames - I figured I'd save the $150 and buy a bunch of inexpensve fit-overs.
So now I'm usng fit-overs and I'm loving them. I get them from Amazon. I lke the colorful overszed ones and I think I have about a dozen pairs of fit-overs currently.
