There are styles that I wouldn't wear myself but which I like seeing on others;  then there are styles I wouldn't wear and can't think of a single person I know who'd be flattered by wearing them.

@lolakimonoDo I even need to say in which category I'd put these pants?   Or the crisp gingham dress you posted elsewhere?

Funny .....

I have two pairs of Bob Mackie's wide leg pants that are an inch or two too long and I really don't want to spend $15 each to have them shortened.

I'm seriously considering runnng some elastic through the hem and turning them into semi-harem pants.  I have some wide decorative edging that I could use as a cuff.  I think they'd look great with ballet flats.

I'll let you know how they turn out.
