I love the light weight gauze clothes for spring and summer.  I saw, I think Belle, have a pair of pants in that material for 60$.  I just laughed.  Last year Sam's club had a good selection so I thought I'll just wait.  I was in WM and I saw the prettiest set in the lounge area, same as Belle, 15 $.  It had the cutest top to go with, 15$, prints, solids.  Old , young, fat, thin can look terrific in these and feel pretty and so comfortable.  Ladies buy smart and don't make someone else rich.  It seems so many on this forum are so closed minded and rude.  Try thinking for yourself and allowing others to express without a negative.

Right! If someone can get that "thing" they want for less $... why not?

That's great.  Yes indeed.  There are thousands of places to shop at all price points. But I can't recall ever in all my years on this board hearing any one say that we should pay MORE than we want to pay or can afford for something.

I love gauze items for when it's very hot & humid!  I did purchase two of Kim Gravels gauze tops on sale for $27.00 each and they are very comfortable and cool (I haven't gotten a chance to wear them yet).  They fit me well.

However I often have trouble at discount stores since the sizing usually doesn't work for me.  You are lucky if it does.

I wear a medium top here but I'm only 5'1".  Most regular tops are too long and oversized.  Also, If I buy to fit my bust size often the rest of the top has too much fabric!  This is not a slimming look.

I suppose I should have learned how to sew but I don't plan on doing that and buying myself a sewing machine at this point in my life.  I have taken items to be altered at my local cleaner or seamstress if I have a special occasion outfit. However it defeats the purpose when trying to save money.  Alterations are not cheap.

The trouble with cheap gauze is that after laundering, it often looks like a limp dishrag. It's hard to find good quality gauze at any price, let alone at Walmart.

To me gauze is too clingy. Looks and feels nice but too clingy.

It's difficult to find good quality guaze clothing and if anyone does, please let me know.

I still have a Liz Claiborne gauze skirt from 40 years ago that I would love to have remade, but the fabric just isn't available.

As a previous poster stated, high quality guaze is very comfortable during the summer.

I purchased a gauze item from Belle line (packabelle) and I really did like the fabric. The problem was with the sizing...just too big on me and seemed shapeless.  Was not flattering cut for me, so I ended up sending back.

@Re: Gauze clothes

@catmama I am not one who likes gauze but I do have a couple tops I bought because of the style and colors a couple years ago from Denim and Co.  The have held up well and seem to be of good quality, but again I am not one familar with gauze to judge the quality.

I forgot to mention that I have 2 shirts of Susan Graver's guaze and they are a good quality.

I love gauze clothing for summer.  I have issues with my skin and I get rashes and prickly heat, as my skin can't process heat and sun.  It is kind of hard to find suitable gauze clothing for a decent price.  I saw a couple cute things in Walmart but they were for a very young person.
