I hope not!!!  But I just looked at the item and it isn't like the "gauchos" I remember which had a much fuller leg.

I think they are one of fashions most ugly things.

I have two pairs in black, In the back of the closet. I also have a pair in brown somewhere. One of the black pair is velvet and the other is a knit, I wore them over the holidays a lot with my black boots, oh, probably 20 years ago. If anybody can make them come back I'm sure Kim can!

I bought them twice when they came around at different times and I'm sorry I did.

I like how they look on others but apparently not on me.

I won't make this mistake a third time.

I remember them and how ugly they were. Likely still ugly.

I remember them from the mid 1990's ...... about 30 years ago.  Definitely not anything I would ever wear.

I just returned a pair to HSN.  Couldn't stand all that fabric flapping around my knees plus they didn't look good.

Some of the comments made me laugh and remind me of Project Runway.  I've been watching old reruns.   Everytime a designer does a pant with a dropped crotch, the judges refer to them as "poopy pants" esp Issac Mizrahi.
