Gary Gobin is wearing a leisure suit this morning on Denim and Co. Is that what the well-dressed designer in Paris or Milan is wearing?

What does Gary have to do with designers in Paris or Milian?

I don't see any correlation here.

Gary is in the USA on a shopping channel, not a Paris runway showing his new clothing line.

Many designers wear black head to toe, male and females.  They aren't any better dressed than the rest of us.

You should take a moment and watch ANTTHONY on HSN.   He is a Paris designer.........

That's not a leisure suit, if it even matters

Gary looks very nice in his black jeans and black jean jacket.

Not what I think of when I think of mens leisure suit.

Re: Gary's Leisure Suit

  1. He says he visits Europe for design inspiration. The printed yoke and flared collar screams leisure suit. It doesn't look like a jean jacket to me, aside from the buttons.

@chessylady   One if the posters said it is a black denim jacket...of course it wouldn't look like leather. It's not supposed to.

I didn't see Gary today but IMO he is not designing for the people who frequent the Paris/Milan runways but for middle America.  He's probably dressed appropriately for that.

After reading you're post, I had to go take a look @chessylady .  I don't think I'm seeing what you see.

My FIL had a whole wardrobe of leisure suits, and I got married in the leisure suit era.

Every time I look at wedding pictures I see men in leisure suits!    Lol.
