I have recently gained weight and moved into the plus sized category. I am working to lose it, but I need some clothes for now. I wear casual clothing. Does anyone have any ideas for versitilie pieces our outfits to get me through this bump in the road?

Don't know your style. Wear the same styles you always do, but bigger sizes.
My friend likes Avenue. Inexpensive. Always coupons available. Many choices. She looks nice.

@LukeandDrewsMom, congrats to you for working on losing weight. I wouldn't buy a whole lot of pieces, seeing you are trying to lose weight. You don't want to wear anything too flowing, I think that isn't flattering. Get some pieces you can mix and match so it looks like you have more outfits than you do. There are specialty stores and department stores that carry really fashionable plus size merchandise. Don't worry about what other people may think, get what you like.

If you are working your diet plan, don't waste money on even bigger sizes. Just give it a little while and buy nice, smaller clothes as a reward.

@LukeandDrewsMom, I discovered that a utility jacket covers a multitude of sins when I gained a few pounds in December:

See how it looks good on both Carolyn and the models? Any nicely cut utility jacket would work, but this one in the link above is on clearance, and I have it myself, so can attest to how nicely camoflaging it is. Comes in some nice colors like warm coral, navy, desert olive. It's A301107. (I put up the video above, b/c I don't think the current video shows it to its best advantage.)
