Remember the G.I.L.I. haircalf bag that Lisa Robertson presented when QVC did the whole red carpet show in Hollywood more than a year ago? In the videoclip the bag is $577.82 and I recall that the QVC viewers thought that was a very expensive bag.

So now take a look at the price... now it's $754.00 and the shipping on this bag is $14.22. Really? Wow!

I don't watch the Today Show, but didn't Jill Martin host segments called "Steals and Deals"? How does that apply to what she's now selling at the Q?! Maybe I'm missing something here, but it seems to me the only one who's "stealing" and "dealing" is the Q. How ironic.

Where were the event prices? The extra easy pays? Did that pouch they were pushing all day even have easy pay? I'm used to handbags being the TSV on a weekend. It didn't seem like the event it would have been given different players. And, yes, I did miss that.

I bought the TSV bag, my first G.I.L.I., but the rest of the pricing for what it is without a major name on it, is egregious.

I have no issue with Lisa at all or any line she helped with. The place is a shopping channel. Primary GOAL..is to SELL!!

I personally would not spend that kind of money on any handbag that was not from any recognizable brand.

Also, if you cannot get an item due to it not being on easy pay - it is probably best you don't get it.

Is this for real? How can they raise a price that much? It should be 50% off if it's that old! My goodness. That $700 bag was over the top too. Wowsa.

It's what they did with Judith Ripka's jewelry. QVC priced me out of her jewelry and it looks like they are doing the same here. They must think they can get what they are asking for the stuff. Crazy. I thought most of the line was too expensive to start with. I only bought 1 Roma 2 when it came out. Anything else I bought was on clearance or as is.

My thoughts exactly! The only idea that comes to mind - their warehouse fee must be a bargain??? QVC would make a perfect case for MBA courses. Lol.

Just posted on another thread that I am done buying here, especially when selection and service is better elsewhere, either on the Internet or locally. I had the new Gili zip skirt on my wish list for the longest time at $58+. I checked today it is now $68+. Off to HSN, a site that knows the meaning of bargain and sale pricing, as well as other sites and my local stores.
