I don't care for funnel necks because I always get make-up on them.  I like T-necks and cowl necks.

Prefer a funnelneck and mockneck to a turtleneck.  Don't care for the tightness of turtleneck around my neck.

A true funnel neck doesn't touch your neck at all. It's similar to a cowl neck but with structure; not as exaggerated.

@Greeneyedlady21 -- Made me look!!  I went to LLBean last night hoping to order one or 2 of those sweaters above - especially that Fair Isle in oatmeal with the pink and blue.  But, all were sold out in my size.  Maybe that was a good thing....?

@Andreatoo   Thanks for that bit of information!  I actually wasn't even familiar with the term but was going by the sweaters posted.  These looked like they would still touch my neck.

I currently don’t own any funnel necks, but I have in the past. I also like mock necks and turtlenecks. All 3 are fine with me.

Although I wear turtlenecks more than almost any other neck style, I think funnelnecks, when they look right, would be my preference.
