@thejulster wrote:I am 5'1" the new longer tops look ridiculous on me. Regular tops are tunics on me and tunics could be dresses (if I wore them on the short side). Every top I have bought in the last couple of years I have had to have altered at $15 each. This means they are not cost effective. I have stopped ordering tops from QVC and will not order any more until this trend ends - hopefully it will end soon. Anyone else frustrated with this particular issue? Perhaps tops should be sized like pants - every size come in a short and a long option or at least a FEW options of this nature.
I'm frustrated over very long tops too and I'm 5'5 but the vast majority hit me at the low hip. For summer that just doesn't make any sense. Plus it just looks nicer when it comes to your high hip, imo. . Also, it is not easy to shorten a top....even the pro's can mess it up.

at 5'2 I'm no fan either and I don't see enough leggings (in real life) to really justify the trend. I did notice, however, the long shirts were nowhere near as prevelant in b&m as the shopping channels. I walked through Nordstroms yesterday and nary a sharkbite in sight!
