But apparently there are posters who don't think a negative opinion has a place on these forums (although for some of them, it's a little like the pot calling the kettle black). Granted, there are ways to say things, and then there are other ways to say the same thing...I don't believe in denigrating the "person", but why can't someone have a negative opinion about how someone dresses or looks without getting raked over the coals for it?
Because some comments from some posters are OVER THE TOP.Geez, go ahead and post your opinions.

If someone writes a post that I don't like or don't agree with, I skip over.
Why do the holier then you police have to come on and put the person down for speaking how they are feeling at the time. In my opinion, your posts bother me more then the person you are disagreeing with.
Let people be themselves and don't read if you don't like what they are saying. You don't have to prove to others what a NICE person you are.
Then skip over this one!Let people be themselves? In real life do you just sit around with friends and just critique everything about what they wear, makeup etc.I bet no.Would you like it if someone always made fun of you.i'm not proving to be a nice person but i feel for certain people who are always being put down.

I don't always agree with gazelle77, but I find her viewpoints refreshingly candid and really appreciate how she lets the frequent personal attacks on her roll off her back.
It's one thing if you don't like what someone has on but to make fun of someone's looks constantly,or how they dress constantly is terrible.Unless you are perfect you have no room to make fun of anyone.Who cares you don't like her fashions move on.Women are always putting other women down it's awful.
So only POSITIVE posts should be put on the boards? No one is allowed to give a negative opinion? That would sure make for some boring discussions...it wouldn't even be worth coming here if everyone has to post that they like EVERYTHING. As I said before, I don't believe in denigrating the PERSON....but the OP and other posters are expressing their opinions about the clothes and how THEY think they look on people, including Lori. There's no right or wrong -- it's just an opinion. And whether someone likes it or not, they're entitled to express it.

The posts that were poofed were just stating the total lack of originality in posts "expressing their opinion" against Lori - it's always the same thing. At least try and find something original to say if you don't like LOGO, otherwise it's just boring

I call this the "bag lady" look because I remember seeing women who lived on the streets of NYC wearing layers of clothes-- i.e. all they owned.
None of these droopy layers is the least bit flattering, Lori Goldstein, and the colors are just drab.
Now you are starting little girls on this same frumpy path. Well, on them, anything looks cute.
I think you are spot on for ladies that have little imagination, don't understand how to style and wear clothing, or are large ladies who sausage themselves into something three sizes too small. If you fit into one of those categories, yes by all means stay away from these clothes.
If, however, you have the figure to look good in them, wear the right size, and understand how to accessorize them and have good grooming to go with it, there is no reason for you to look like a bag lady. And a lot of ladies who shy away from sweat pants and lime green Disney stained tee shirts would look wonderful on a relaxed day in these clothes.
If you just throw these on not caring about how you look otherwise, they'd probably be awful. But then so would the sweat pants and the t-shirt if you just throw them on.

So now in addition to being required to post positive comments, everyone has to be "original" so you can be entertained???

Well! I do not wear frumpy clothes and am considered a sharp dresser, and I love Lori Goldstein clothes. They are a great diversion from ordinary boring looks. I hate run of the mill fashion. I don't want to be cute and considered a nice dresser because I look like everybody else. SO THERE!
