Re: Form fitting sheath dresses

Jamie wears what I would consider a sheath dress.

Scuba is a type of material, no?

@bri20

OP said blonde rep, so probably not Jamie.

I didn't see the presentation, so I don't know which dress or rep she's referring to.

@lolakimono, I didn't see the presentation, but it's probably the blonde with the short hair.

All the IT Cosmetics gals wear sheath dresses.

Yes it is.  It's a heftier blend with spandex.

Re: Form fitting sheath dresses

  The dictionary says a Sheath is a cover for a sword, a fitted dress, a condom.  A sheath can be: Strapless, Straps, ANY length of sleeve.  It is a fitted dress,  not necessarily a TIGHT dress, but not an A-line.   Then, whatever fabric they make it in. cotton, silk, scuba, knit.-----------------tedEbear

Thank you @tedEbear.  It can also have sleeves.

Glamorous, YES!    But not for everyone.   And make sure you take a good (objective) look in a full-length mirror before buying one..................

Re: Form fitting sheath dresses

I do not think the OP was so concerned about the term sheath as about the fact that a very fitted dress, no matter what you call it, can emphasize the tummy area. But to be clear, when I was a lot younger "sheath" dress did refer to a form fitting dress with or without sleeves. That is what they were called then. Now you can call it "body con" "scuba", etc but I think we mean and understand what we see on the IT vendors as a close fit. Times have changed and so has our viewpoint on what is an "acceptable" fit (for the lack of a better word).

If my dog doesn't like you, neither do I.
