Thanks for posting.  I know exactly who I will be gifting these to.  I am so glad CWC is going back to their basic stuff.

'Looking back', I just don't know how I got along, in all of those years, wearing fitted, non - pull-on jeans and pants.  What a pain it was in those days. (pun intended).

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

I've  been buying the sport cords from LandsEnd the past couple of years.

They are a knit cord fabric - more like a ribbed velour than a corduroy ... so comfortable to wear.

As a rule I don't do pull ons but I do appreciate the wide yoke and the flat front of those that you posted

This is spot on. For years, I avoided pull on pants, because the elasticized waists could be bulky. These new, wider and flatter waistlines solve that problem. They're  perfectly flat and smooth.

They're also great if (like me) you have a wide waist but small hips. I can buy a size that fits my hips, and the waist will be accommodating.

@peachesncream
I have the opposite issue :-)
My main problem with a pull on is that I like the option to tuck in a shirt and I find that most elasticized waists are not so conducive to that!

      They look like jeggings to me.  I like the bootcut ones.
