I just read of this problem in my Consumer Reports. They say the only solution is dry cleaning. The PERC (perchlorethelyne, I believe) puts the perfume into suspension and takes it out of the fabric. I do know people who object to dry cleaning for environmental reasons, but I'm assuming the industry uses current standards to dispose of the perc.
