Thankfully, I don't own any of the above, except 2 plaid shirts in pale colors, so I don't have to empty my closet, lol. Thanks for the article, interesting.

No one's telling me what or what not to wear, just me.

I don't listen to anyone telling me something is out of style, but then I don't follow trends.

I differ from the list a bit.  Plaid never goes out of style; however it becomes "trendy" periodically over the years when designers jump on it as something "new."  Same with leopard print and fringe.  So, I expect to see women wearing them next year and years after, trendy or not.

Eventually, moto jackets, flowered prints and embroidery will go no longer be trendy, too, but all will return.

Bell sleeves and cold shoulders, IMO, were fashion disasters.

I've never worn something just because it was in style or trendy. I buy and wear what I like and I will continue to do so.

The only expiration dates I follow are on my perishable foods

I don’t have to ditch anything because I never got into style looking at these fashions. 😁

Very unrealistic, no one ever wore that ugly stuff did they?

@Imaoldhippie   Yes, many people wore high-waist jeans, plaids, dress-up sneakers, fringe on clothing and handbags, obi belts, mules with heels, skinny sunglasses, crop tops, torn jeans, patches on jeans, leopard prints and high-waist skirts.

I always find it interesting to see the trends come and go. I am old enough to have seen some come, go, and then, come back again. I base my buying decisions on what I like and what looks good on me, whether it is trending or not.
