@Pearlee  It was so cute, I bought one too, and a red tee to wear underneath

It will serve us well, for years to come. I thought I was done buying winter wear ,but it is such a bargain, I decided to take the plunge

@GraceCO Thank you! Smiley Happy

@cherry  Oh, no!  I got you into trouble with this thread! LOL  It is a great price - it's well made and I really love this plaid and the colors used. The white background really brightens me up too (face).   I hope you love yours - it is a very good purchase and is top quality!

It will go with so many things I already have. I want to get a skirt to wear with it. I don't wear a lot of skirts ,but it will  give me a suit look, for things that I attend ,that require a bit of, dressed up looking clothing

@cherry  I agree.  It's a very versatile item; assuming it works out for you, you'll defintely get your money's worth of wear out of it.  It will go equally well with jeans too!

I was a bit in doubt again, with the sizing so I sized up. It doesn't have any give in the fabric, and I will wear clothing under it. I hope it fits ok.

I can't stand tight jackets

Re: For Those Who Own Talbots Rulffe Front Tartan Plaid Jacket

@cherry  I hate to tell you this, but I tried four or five different ones on at the store - all in the same size (I wear a petite in this due to sleeve length) and they all fit vastly differently.  There was a quarter or even in one case a half size difference in them between the one I ended up with and the others I tried.  This is a constant issue with Talbots which is why I have to try things on at the store, unless it's a online exclusive of course.

Fingers crossed. It was such a small difference  between the 2 sizes, and I could honestly go either way

I wish they would put garment measurements on the site. They are a big enough business that  they could do it

@cherry   They are wise not to, since the measurements aren't uniform at all per size!  As my previous post indicates!
