To those that wear a lot of white in an outfit, if you don't wear white or colored shoes, would you chose black or medium or lighter browns?
Most of the fashion bloggers are saying with essentially white outfits, black is too harsh. I was wondering .............

@ECBG If I wear white, it's usually hot outside, so I wear sandals. I have a tons of sandals, all in different colors, so I usually match the color with the outfit.
I think black or dark brown would be too harsh....IMO. But if wearing black pants with an all white shirt, I would wear black shoes (or sandals).

Love wearing black with white. Spectator and houndstooth in black and white have been around forever. Not harsh in my eyes.

@CAcableGirl2 Thanks for the input. I was hopeful of a discussion. They're showing a medium brown to light. Your views?

midtone saddle tan looks chic with white. A big NO
to black as it's too harsh.
Lauren does alot of saddle tan belts, sandals with white clothing.
And I'm talking about white bottoms or skirts.

Spectator is a great look. I love black & white but the poster's question brough to my mind white pants, capri, whatever and black shoes. If the outfit were spectator of course.

@ECBG I would also consider if the outfit is light and airy or heavy/warm. In other words, if the white if more of a summer outfit, black or brown would be OK if they were shoes that were open (like a strappy sandal or heal) and not solid (like a heavy pump or oxford or boot).

When I wear white pants I wear a shoe that is close to my skin color.
I only wear white pants when it is warm and dry, so I wear a sandal style shoe.
