I love them! I had a pair similar to those in the 1990's I wore to an art show. They were basic black though. LOL They are standing shoes, not walking shoes. You cannot walk in those. You could shuffle a little.

They don't call me shoekitty for nothing!

Looks like my old pair of Kork-Ease. I took Woodworking in high school (circa 1978)...I made a bookcase...should've made a pair of shoes! =

That is one extreme shoe.

But I do think if it was just the sling back portion (I can't do an ankle strap) it would be a lovely shoe. But who on earth could wear and stand in that high of a shoe? I'm guessing no one who has ever broke their ankle?? Which lets me out.

Well that and the price tag!
