Re: Finding Budget Minded Summer Clothes

@Tinkrbl44   I'm a BIG Costco shopper.   Always was. Always will beSmiley Very Happy

They have a huge selection of organic foods and paper supplies and other items I need and use frequently (like skin care products and dental supplies.  I also buy my electronics there and have purchased some furniture, as well.

This week I'm going there to purchase 4 new tires for my car.  Comes with a first-rate warantee of 3 yrs or 80,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Their clothing selections have grown in recent years.  They have an excellent choice of items (many brand names) for kids/ladies/gents at remarkable prices.

With the huge increases I'm experiencing in the food dept, I'm delighted to report that their clothing prices have remained flat, or almost flat.

The shopping experience at Costco is first-rate.  Their service and return policies (you can return an item at ANY time after purchase if it fails.  (I returned a Phillips Sonicare toothbrush that malfunctioned after about 3 yrs and was given a replacement immediately).

I have an Executive Membership that gives me an annual 3% rebate (to be used for Costco purchases).  My daughter is on my membership and between us we buy enough to earn a large check each year.

I love shopping at Costco!

I think, good for you, this is my only social media as well....I hate to say it but I think most social media is killing our society and don't get me started on people with their faces glued to their dumb cell phones.... but I digress....haha

@katie1859

I found many nice, light, cotton trousers and blouses at Marshalls. Perhaps you have it by you?

Yes, I have ordered many new pieces from L.E. They all came quickly, in spite of the free shopping. Every thing fit well and of good quality.

I buy multiples of certain items that I like that fit well-tee shirts, polos. Also have a couple of summer dresses that are so pretty and comfortable.

I also like what seems to be consistency in the size too.

Re: Finding Budget Minded Summer Clothes

I don't have many stores near me now.  I do shop on the Q but not that much.  I just got a Susan Graver long sleeve light-weight blouse, yellow and white checked, "as is" and it was a super deal and I love it!  This shirt will be great with my white crop pants.  I food shop at Walmart so when I go through the store I am always looking at the clothing.  I occasionally find a few cute things there.  I just purchased a lilac hoodie and an iris colored t-shirt to go underneath.  I also find great deals at Kohls.  I recently bought 2 sweaters, a long sleeve printed t-shirt, a pair of pants, pair of p.j.'s, a summer dress, a bra, pair of panties, 2 pairs of earrings, a pair of shorts and t-shirt for DH and all of it came to a little over $100!  I occasionally buy something at Target, but usually their clothing is geared for younger people and teens.  On line, I purchase from Blair, Belk, Bell's, Macy's, etc.
