Finding Budget Minded Summer Clothes

Once again I was pleased to stay in budget and buy some summer clothes. I watch the Q and I'm astonished by prices, which is common in higher end stores. However, I still believed I could do better and I did. Kohl's use to sell the Ralph Lauren brand CHAPS. They no longer do. Old faithful Walmart third party does, and I found quite a lot, and on clearance. Have to live Walmarts fast shipping and in three days the items arrived. Example: a few tops, short sleeve and summery, 5.95. For roughly 80.00 dollars I scooped up 3 bottoms and 3 tops.

I share not to float or put down the Q, rather encourage others to know you can buy nice brands on clearance and all new.

agree with you; there are many budget friendly stores that offer nice looking clothes. You just have to look, whether online or in person. Glad you found a bunch of cute things for not a lot of money ❤️

There are so many retailers offering incentives and free shipping I buy very little from QVC. I do have the coupon from them that I get "free shipping" on 4 fashion items. Having a tough time finding anything to buy even with that!!!

I've been watching QVC for at least 20 years and have never heard them say they have the lowest prices. They don't.

They certainly are "convenient" since getting something delivered to your front door is a very nice, time-saving feature ... IF you don't need to return anything.

I still like to shop around in B&M stores. Last year I got surprising good quality pima cotton tees at Walmart, short sleeved and v-necks, for $7 each. They have washed and worn well. For an around the house tee shirt, you can't beat that.

Last time I was in a Walmart, probably two months ago, I noticed they were carrying Chaps in the men's department. Don't know about the women's section since I didn't venture over there.

COSTCO never disappoints. I can buy an entire "wardrobe" for each season for about $100. High quality, styles very reminescent of QVC, fit beautifully and easy to launder.

OH...lest I forget, if I need to return anything, it's one short visit to the "return counter" and immediate cash back, no explanations or questions asked.

Among my favorites are the Carole Hochman sets that are usually 3 pieces and about $17.00.

lands end is having free shipping this weekend which a big deal because their shipping is $9. That has caused me to stop checking out many times. However with the deal this weekend, and sale pricing on the shirts I wanted, it was a great purchase.
