Re: Fifties and FABULOUS SHOW❤️

@Trinity11

I had the same feeling when AARP sent me that letter around 50! Felt like they must be nuts and pitched it forever and ever. Years later found out they do begin recruiting people at that age. I never did join and don't feel like I've missed out on anything other than a lot of junk mail!!

Some of us prefer to select the companies we do business with rather than have them solicit us. I don't care to be solicited by someone I've never met or has no local ties; thus, AARP was a no-go for me.

Oh, I have no issues with AARP .. I just didn't like facing the reality of the fact I was getting "older."😄

I'm fine with getting older.  I consider it a great blessing that I have been given.  And I was a senior before I graduated from college.  Now I am an older person and hope to be for some time longer.

Be grateful for every day! Age is simply a number. Life is to precious to complain about it; enjoy each year and find joy in your life.

@Trinity11 I worked with a lady who soon retired. She told me, "You know you're old when you get mail from AARP...and it's for your child!"🤣🤣🤣
