The faux  leather pants/skirts being showen on QVC seem to make people look heavier and don't blend into the over all look.  This seems to be a look that was years ago

@matty liz. I agree, and it looks exactly like plastic, not leather.  Stiff, hot plastic, not leather-like at all.

Re: Faux leather

Most things that are shiny, reflective or metallic appear larger than they actually are and that includes clothing and shoes...and even diamonds.

It's just not comfortable being smothered in faux leather against the body.  Jackets can be an exception, but I will pay more for real leather. I respect the preference of those who prefer not to wear any animal skin, but I'll take the real thing any day.

Just wait until they are wearing this out somewhere and see little pieces of something left on their chair or skin.  Ask me how I know 🙄.  It's like you are shedding like your pet.  😳

Not a fan of pants in faux leather but vests, jackets and even skirts look ok. Not for me as that isn't my lifestyle anymore.

I had quite a bit of faux leather from QVC and other retail stores.  ALL OF IT peeled.  No more for me.

Notice ... no one mentioned the new faux is peel-proof.

I agree with your assessment.  I personally don't like faux anything.   If I can't afford the real thing then I do without until I can.  This is a personal thing for me and not a comment on thoce that do.

Leather, the real deal, is best. Lately it is in short supply. The new "faux" does hold up well and of corse a lot less cost.
