Since I love pockets in any garment, faux ones are a completely turnoff.   I can live with faux flys.

I thouroughly read descriptions to make sure the pockets are real . My mother watching from above would be disappointed if I did not carry a tissue at all times . I like to have lip gloss easily available also . I have washed & dried both items though , although never made a mess. 

The best pants pockets IMO are the denim & co original . They are deep and very well fashioned.

Neither! I need real pockets in my pants and the faux flies read toddler to me. Remember what we put on our children when they were little??

I prefer both to be real.

I don't mind faux pockets or flys.  If it's a more fitted pant I don't like the bulk of either one.  Looser fitting, real pockets by all means.   Depends on the outfit.  I'm always in tune with my belly area.
