QVC shows items at. one price one week, and on clearance the next week.  They offer free price adjustments for 30 days.  I just call to get them.  It's not a big deal.  

 

This is not a new concept.  When I shopped B+M regularly, if I was going to purchase something that was going to go on sale, the salesperson would tell me, and offered to hold the item for me until sale time, and I could pick it up then.  They had this practice at Macy's, Saks, Bloomingdales, probably others.  They did this for many customers, not just me.  You could see the garments on hold because they had a section for this.  If I wasn't warned about the upcoming sale, B+M stores offered the same price guarantee, if you brought garments in new unworn condition.  

 

I shop mostly online now, and all online sellers have honored the 30 day practice for me.
