Today's fashion photos on QVC's home page are quite lovely.  They have (to my eye) reached the level of something you'd see in the Soft Surroundings catalog.

Despite what the picture may indicate, the quality of the Stan Herman poncho does not approach the quality of something from Soft Surroundings. 

Frequently you hear a purchase is so much better in person than it appeared on air or in a picture.  The Stan Herman poncho is the opposite.  It is nothing more than a poor quality throw.  HSN had something similar a few years ago that sold for under $20.  (on clearance it was half the price)

I am speaking of the quality of the photography.  That's it.

@LTT1  Yes, have had them all my life.  They are fewer post-menopause. But at this time of year when the barometric pressure is up and down, up and down, I often wake up with one.  Today's was esp. bad this a.m. but is gone now.
