Re: Fashion clearance, anyone buying today??

This is not a fashion clearance. These are a one day only price. I have never seen a store lower their prices one day and the next they are back up. I don't believe these prices are half off. They are only showing you the QVC Price and just showing you the half off price. I think the vest they showed for SG was 34.00 as a TSV and when showed today it was $29.68. So, I don't understand the savings!!! I have bought nothing.

I would have if the logo plaid coat was on clearance.  Just does not look like its worth $174.00 and some of the reviews are not good.  So I'm with you.  Listening to the reviews.

I haven't bought anything as I don't need anything. However, the markdowns on Joan River's big shirts were really good.

Re: Fashion clearance, anyone buying today??

Most of what I wanted I've already tried and returned.  Like the faux suede Joan Rivers big shirt.  I loved the concept and bought two when they were TSV's.

I love faux suede (which is also referred to as Mole Skin)...  and I assumed the material would be like the faux suede of  years ago, you know, soft, drapey and you could throw it in your washer and dryer and they came out beautiful (I still have some) and they wore like iron.

But this stuff was stiff, it wrinkled badly and even ironing it, the wrinkles were awful to get out.  This material was cheaply made and awful to wear and care for.

I am frustrated beyond belief at the materials that are being passed off today as having the same names as the materials from years ago.

I jumped the shark with one of Susan Graver's bg shirts touted as her peach skin and I bought all three of the colors because it had a beautiful pattern on it.  The peach skin was stiff and did not wash well, wrinkled like crazy and the sizing had short arms.  It certainly was not her peach skin of years ago (either her thinner peach skin or her later, thicker peach skin).  I never had to iron any of her other pieces (and I still have some!).  I regretted keeping all three of these blouses as I've only worn one once.

So no.... I'm a little goosy buying the clothing.....

@emmysmom Happy New Year!!! Yes, I was pleasantly surprised to find some good buys at Q today.

Actually, I caved over the weekend to pick up my 1st Lug bag Woman Very Happy It was just reordered/restocked after a quick sellout. Only a few colors left. It has an insulted zippered section for snacks & to keep sunscreen, makeup from spoilage during summer.

Linea has LOTS and LOTS of great prices, in my opinion.  I need absolutely nothing---need to shop my closet for sure.  I did pick up a very cute lace-up leisure hoodie, half price, for a friend's birthday next month.

No ... I haven't seen anything that I want to buy.  I tried watching a couple of shows today and got bored.   The Twilight Zone is running marathon of shows ... I'm watching that!

Re: Fashion clearance, anyone buying today??

I hadn't started watching until late this afternoon. I looked online to get an idea of products presented. Saw the D&C Sherpa lined vest. I have been wanting one especially for when I walk the dog or any time I need a bit of warmth on my chest and back but not be covered up.

i hadn't seen anything at the mall or Target that caught my eye. I never think of Kohls.

Anyway, I was glad to see what I was looking for and went ahead an ordered.

Saw the Marc Fisher boots with the lug soles that I liked but wouldn't dare order without trying on and even then...I really need nothing....but I liked those.
