[MacDuFF]

My favorite inspiration outfits this week from online browsing/shopping and from some of my favorite fashion bloggers. I couldn't (or wouldn't) necessarily wear any of these, but I like the way they've been styled or some particular component of the outfit. I might put an accessory on my shopping list. Maybe the outfit inspires me to put together something similar from my wardrobe or to try different color combinations. Sometimes, I just love the whole look. Thought I'd share and hope you enjoy...

As always, thank you so much for your comments on these threads. I read them all and especially enjoy reading why you like an outfit or why you don't and how you might tweak an outfit, or what individual pieces you like.

#15  Handsome and I are going to New York for New Year's Eve.  We'll be staying in the Royal Suite at The Plaza.  I'll be wearing this, in black, to the exclusive festivities in the ballroom.  It's a nightgown circa 1950's, but I dare the society editorials to criticize me.  And I'll be wearing the jewels in #16.  In my dreams...

I love so many but I adore #1 for its Southwest vibe.  Very subtle and not gimmicky or tourist looking.  That #6 is one good look coat that would go many places.  #11 would be so comfy and warm for lounging at home or at a ski lodge.

I enjoyed my runway fashions through photos!!!!  The tops were so pretty, loved the jacket and the dresses stood out.  It is always fun to see all the different outfits and while I may not like each and every one it is always fun to receive this post, thank you McDuFF !!!

@on the bay   For the record:  That was my fantasy New Year's Eve!!  It costs $30,000 a night to stay in the Royal Suite at The Plaza...maybe they'll take Handsome's check hahaha.  And there is not a society editor in the world who would give me the time of day!  If I owned that gorgeous nightgown from 1954, it would be encased in a shadow box and hung on a wall in my bedroom haha.
