My favorite inspiration outfits this week from online browsing/shopping and from some of my favorite fashion bloggers. I couldn't (or wouldn't) necessarily wear any of these, but I like the way they've been styled or some particular component of the outfit. I might put an accessory on my shopping list. Maybe the outfit inspires me to put together something similar from my wardrobe or to try different color combinations. Sometimes, I just love the whole look. Thought I'd share and hope you enjoy...

As always, thank you so much for your comments on these threads! I read them all. I especially enjoy reading why you like an outfit or why you don't and how you might tweak an outfit, or what individual pieces you like.

Little bit of summer, little bit of fall (which pretty much describes the weather in our neck of the woods).  I had several favorite favorites this week...


#1  These jeans represent the silhouette that I've been playing with, but it didn't work for me for summer.  I have a few long jeans for transition and winter in this silhouette that I love, though, so go figure.  I do love this look, but not the top or the bag, and I can't wear the heel height any longer  ...



#2  Make the top less cropped and elbow sleeves, and I'm all in (what the heck is that thing leaning on the tree trunk?!?)...



#3  Yes, except for the weird sandals...



#4   My style for sure...these jeans are less wide than those in #1 and usually work for me (I know, such a small difference, but it matters to me, call me obsessed haha)...

@MacDuFF @As always thanks!#q10 that is my travel uniform! Boots when it cold, sandals when it's warm! #2 not quite my look but I love it on her. A cool funky vibe. Her hair is everything!#6 jeans, chunky sweater and mules...yes please! Oh I think it's a lampshade in #2.

@MacDuFF - For my lifestyle these days, my favorite look is #8.  I like the jeans in #6 and the camel blazer in #9.  How I wish I could still wear those black heels in #1, but those days are gone!!

I enjoy seeing all the different outfits.

So many looks that I like and would wear. I agree that pants in 4 are more my preference for leg width vs 1. I am a huge fan of all the ivory/ white/taupe combos. And I also adore the more colorful top in #14. 

I am trying to find fall/winter length jeans as I don't have any right now. Found a couple of maybe jeans, including an ivory straight leg, but I am waiting for decent sales. It's really hard for me to pay full price for anything. Lol

MacDuFF, although the majority of the tops and pants in neutral were nice, there were several dressier outfits that I really liked.

My favorite was the beautiful dress and blazer in #9 which is something I definitely would have worn when I was working. The pattern on the dress was lovely and the overall effect is soft and elegant.

I also liked the dress in #3 which is different and fashion forward. Finally, the pants in #11 and blouse and blazer in #13 are all things I would love to add to my wardrobe.

Number 5 would be a show-stopper at any affair and its so beautifully accessorized.  I can just see her sashshaying into a country club luncheon in all that red.

I also like #7 a lot because I can just see it decked out with big, chunky turquoise jewelry.  Its the perfect canvas for that purpose.

I like #14 on a tall, slender person but that's not me.  Very breezy and comfortable looking.

@MacDuFF : your photos have inspired me to wear more black tops/ white jeans or pants as I enter this transitional season.

Also loving emerald green with black. Recent purchases include an emerald tee for layering under black and a darling little emerald drawstring leather bucket bag to carry when wearing all black.
